Turmeric Hot Cocoa

Ingredients:

Milk 2 Cups

Coconut Oil 1/2 Teaspoon

Cocoa Powder (Unsweetened) 2 Tablespoons

Ground Turmeric 1 Teaspoon

Ground Cinnamon 1/2 Teaspoon

Ground Ginger 1/4 Teaspoon

Honey 2 Tablespoons

Black Pepper Pinch

Dash of Cayenne

Salt Pinch

Steps:

  1. In a medium saucepan, warm the milk and coconut oil over medium heat until it’s hot but not boiling.

  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the cocoa powder, turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, black pepper, cayenne, and sea salt until well combined.

  3. Once the milk is hot, add the spice mix and honey to the saucepan, whisking constantly until fully incorporated and smooth.

  4. Let the mixture simmer for about 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, to allow the flavors to meld together.

  5. Pour the hot chocolate into your favorite mug and Enjoy!

Tips:

-The black pepper helps with turmeric absorption.
