Pizzelle

Ingredients:

Eggs 8

Melted Butter 1/4 Cup

Sugar 3/4 Cup

Anise 3/4 Teaspoon

Flour 1 1/2 Cup

Salt 1/4 Teaspoon

Baking Powder 1 Teaspoon

Optional: Powder Sugar to Dust the Top

Steps:

  1. Beat the eggs and sugar, then stir in the melted butter and anise.

  2. Add the flour, salt and baking powder.

  3. Spoon the batter onto the prepared pizzelle iron.

  4. Close the iron and bake for 30-45 seconds.

  5. Optional: Dust on the powder sugar.

Notes:

-Top with powder sugar for an extra sweetness.

-You can substitute anise flavoring with vanilla extract, or other flavorings.
